Internship

The George Floyd Memorial Foundation, Inc. and Texas A&M University-Commerce have teamed up to launch the Be His Legacy Internship Program, an innovative new program designed to provide hands-on experiences through community outreach, targeted educational programs, and intentional reform initiatives to eliminate police brutality, promote social justice, and protect the civil rights of all people of color. A select number of virtual internship opportunities are offered for qualified undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled full-time at Texas A&M University-Commerce and members of the African-American Male Mentorship Program.

Program participants receives a semester stipend, and opportunities to meet and interact with professionals and leaders in several industries including but not limited to: Government, Legal, Public Relations/Entertainment, and many more!
